For a picturesque view of the cliffs of Camotes one have to visit Buho Rock. The local government has built viewing flat forms here that the children (with that I mean the people I was with) converted into a diving podium!
How could you not be happy with an 2 peso entrance fee? The proceeds goes to the maintenance of the place which is very well kept, there was even a local police there when we arrived.
A closer look reveals that this elevated rock hill was once underwater. The ladder leading to the cottage and the platforms is probably close to hundred steps (or even more), going down is easy, going back up is another story!
Natural erosion and weather has shaped the cliff, very interesting especially for someone who has never seen rocky enclaves (not like this) this close, its nice to be here, just enjoying the fresh sea breeze and the scenic beauty of the Camotes sea.
