Multilingual Historic Markers

It is only right that historical markers be made in all major language. Depending on its location, it should honor the local language and the lengua franca of the generation behind it. English should also be included so those who couldn’t understand the local and Spanish language can also appreciate the historical value of the place. The purpose of these historical markers is not only to inform us of the important events but to commemorate the personalities that shaped our nation. It is important, therefore, that we ground our historical view on the languages that they’ve used to free us. Photo: Malolos Cathedral
